At first, there seemed to be some many cases going on that it was difficult to keep everything straight and figure out which personalities and cases were connected to which. As the novel progressed, I became more engrossed in the individual cases and of course, the main case where Jack's found his ex-girlfriend dead in his bed. The person or persons who set up Jack did a thorough job, and it was interesting to follow the case. I will definitely read another in the Private series. ( )

I've liked both books in this series so far. It's not the best writing, but at least it's a little different than the standard fare Patterson usually delivers. Read this one in one evening, so it can't be too bad. ( )

It was okay, but too big of a jump from the introduction book to this one. I kept getting a little lost. ( )

Maxine Paetro is one the best co-authors James Patterson has. Her books are better than a lot of the other co-authors. ( )
