What attracted me to this book was definitely the cover. I thought the artwork on it was stunning and the title sounded nice. It seemed to combine 2 of my favorite things: classic England and magic. Overall the story was nicely written. I thought Sophie could be a bit whiny and tiresome at times but she changed that near the end of the novel. I won't be rushing to pick up any more books in this series however. For me, there was not enough magic. A lot of the story was about the romance. There was more to it than that but that's what I saw. It was a cute quick read however. If you have a weekend to spare and you like witches, warlocks, balls, and kisses, I recommend this book. 3.5/5!
