Book description
The worldly Marquis of Okehampton was startled to learn that he had inherited a Ward, Zia Langley -- whom was in the Convent of the Holy Thorn in Cornwall. The philandering Marquis visits her on impulse. There he finds a false priest and Zia, his long neglected ward, kept prisoner by criminals intent on seizing her fortune. He must rescue from the false convent!

Zia proved to be a Guardian's dream. Her loveliness and vivacious grace assured her of a dazzling London season and a brilliant marriage. But the heart-stoppingly handsome Marquis was strangely reluctant to share his new-found Ward... until destiny sent a cruel double threat that revealed to the Marquis and Zia the precious treasure of their love!
