What an exquisite collection! Not only do you get great recipes, you also get to learn the stories behind them and get a glimpse of the author/chef's life and love of food. Bill Smith presents fresh foods based on the season and advises to take advantage of local produce for optimum flavor. He will be missed. ( )

This is a cookbook I reviewed for a magazine. If you live in North Carolina, especially in the Chapel Hill region, check this one out - it's written by the chef at Crook's Corner. ( )
