Ack! I should have paid more attention when I bought this. I was so pleased to find a nicely bound copy of "Selections from Bunyan, " that I did not read the title page closely. It turns out that this is "Updated in Today's Language by Ellyn Sanna."
I have dipped into a few of the selections this morning, and they seem to be quite well done. Nonetheless, I hate paraphrases. I want to read Bunyan in his own words, and I love the old language. I will not buy more of this series,as I suppose that they are all "modernized."
