None. The story was great and the art is fantastic. Here's a nitpicky thing: several times it seemed like the word balloons didn't flow. I've been reading comics a long time and I can always follow the progression across and down the page, but on quite a few pages I felt like they didn't follow "industry standards." ( )I've always enjoyed Matt Wagner's work, but this just wasn't that great. I loved this graphic novel immediately. It was well paced with often cinematic cell design. The dialogue held true to each individual characters style while still meshing as a cohesive unit. The art was square jawed classic, yet dynamic enough for the action to flow appropriately. From the back:"For the first time ever, the tale of the Dark Knight and Man of Steel's first meeting with the Amazon Princess is told! Billionaire eco-terrorist Ra's al Ghul is on a mad quest to remake the world in his own image. With the juggernaurt clone of Superman known as Bizarro and a deadly rougue Amazon by his side, this troika of terror casts an ominous shadow over the future of mankind! Witness the birth of a legendary alliance, as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman join forces to defend Earth against apocalyptic fate!" The begining with the characters meeting and their personalities being showcased is more interesting than the battle/confrontation at the end with Ra's. I liked the drawing and coloring a lot in this book. A hardback compilation of Wagner's fine "Trinity" miniseries. Matt Wagner is a real talent as both writer and artist, and may someday may be in Frank Miller's league. His art style is a little similar, and it wouldn't surprise me if he had been influenced by Miller. no reviews | add a review
