None. This book is a down to earth collection of Rituals of Aleister Crowley. The author starts off with some good disclaimers, and enough basic history that those unfamiliar with Crowley and the systems he built from and created, can at least get through the work. It leads the reader through many rituals, often in Crowley's original words too, so very little is lost. A convenient work for those interested in Crowley of the system he started. The book is more of a collection of rituals, than an explanation of the symbolism and what the rituals actually do, so some base knowledge makes this book far more useful. A good book in all. ( )This is a wonderful introduction into the world of Thelema. Lon Milo breaks down and explains in detail the inner workings of this great magick in terms that even a beginner can understand. It's also full of anything you would need to know regarding the subject, from a-Z, it's all there. I started with this book and very highly recommend reading it. Lon Milo Duquette is one of the premier authors of Thelema and reading this will only make you want to read the rest of his books. A fantastic practical introduction to Aleister Crowley's Thelema. no reviews | add a review
