The Green Glass Sea by Ellen Klages, 2007. It is classified as young adult historical fiction, but is so good that I recommend it to adults. It is about a girl living at Los Alamos during The Manhattan Project, and includes the names of real-li ... ... fiction came out last year! I also loved (or should I say LOVED) Gossamer by Lois Lowry. I'm on the fence about The Green Glass Sea by Ellen Klages. Sometimes the style was very stiff and awkward, like she was having an out-of-body experience with her characters. She seemed to ... ... People's Republic of Desire. Tomorrow I think I'll go to my local library (which is not the library I work at!) to get Green Glass Sea as my work-library doesn't have it yet and it looks good.
