1st pub 1932. On a successioon of evenings the animals settle into Dr. Dolittle's kitchen to hear Gub-Gub the pig read parts of his book on food. One of MFK Fisher's last book endorsements appears on back cover. She read the orig book to her younger brother and sister. ( )
