This book is now somewhat dated, having been written in the mid-90s at the time of the Church Commisioners' financial debacle and the Turnbull report. It is geared very much towards the Church of England, and towards strategy for a whole denomination, so it is of limited value to the local leader in a non-CofE environment. Having said that, it does contain helpful frameworks and is a good wake-up call for complacent church leaders. ( )
