Ich habe die ganzen Caroline Graham-Romane eigentlich nur wegen Inspector Barnaby gekauft - dieser Roman gehört allerdings nicht zur Serie. Aber … Wahnsinn! Der war vielleicht spannend! Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute. Und es ist weniger ein Krimi als ein Psychothriller. Ich konnte jedenfalls kaum damit aufhören zu lesen bis ich das Buch durchhatte. Das passiert nicht so häufig. Doch nicht nur dafür die 5 Punkte. Das ganze Setting, die Charaktere, die Handlung, der Stil - das war alles sehr stimmig und großartig geschrieben. ( )
