This is another book that I really enjoyed. It is full of diversity and shows many different settings of place and culture. It also gives children many fun ideas on what to do. They can also come up with their own ideas or remember old memories to write about. The only downfall is that it seems a little outdated. ( )

Who has ever wondered what makes Summer? Well, wonder no more because this book, "What Makes Summer," helps everyone realize what fun events Summer brings. It brings days of lots of sunlight and outdoor activities! Who does not love Summer with all of the fun things there are to do? Children love the Summer because that is their time to play and explore on their own outside. Summer means no school, homework, or cold days. Many children look forward to running, skipping, and swimming in the blaze. Enjoy a good book, and read this text to your child. Help them find new things to do when Summer finally rolls around. This book will also help your child realize that all children no matter where they come from, usually all like to do the same thing and have fun in the Summer sun. ( )
