Anne accompanies a work colleague to the old mansion his parents have just inherited, to work on a book together. However it's not long before it becomes apparent that something is haunting the house.
One of Michaels' more creepy suspense/modern gothic novels. I'm not sure if I have read this before, but if I did I'd repressed it and in any case didn't like it much, particularly the ending, this time around. Somewhat dated now too.
