This is the fourth in the Cedar Cove series, we learn more about the dead man in the B&B and the mysterious details surrounding his death. All the rest of the characters progress along in the story (like usual) only we see a little more into the Grace/Cliff and Maryellen/John relationship. ( )

Olivia Lockhart, Grace Sherman and their family and friends are back in this fourth installment of the Cedar Cove series. 44 Cranberry Point picks up where 311 Pelican Court ended. Bob and Peggy Beldon find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation and are shocked when they learn the killer’s identity and the motive for the murder.

Ms. Macomber continues the stories of the popular characters: Olivia and her mother, Charlotte, Grace and her daughters, Jack Griffin and Cliff Harding. New characters are introduced as well. If you’ve read the previous novels in the series, you will feel right at home with 44 Cranberry Point.

I do like with each book, more is revealed about each character. It’s as though the reader is getting to know a new friend. At times the storyline is predictable, however it doesn’t diminish the reading enjoyment. If you are interested in reading this series, I suggest reading them in order as each book flows from one to the other. ( )

This was pretty good, but a little confusing. Basically, it's a soap opera in novel form. And, like most soap operas, it can sometimes be hard to keep track of who everyone is and how they're related to each other. And I hate referring to guides or glossaries ... I'm not going to keep flipping back and forth to see who such-and-such is. So, I just wing it. I guess I didn't get confused *too* much. Not so much that I won't read the other books in the series. It was entertaining! Lord knows I don't get to watch soaps anymore, so it was a nice fix! ( )

This is one of the books of the Cedar Cove series. I have read all by the newest. The characters are gripping and the books are really interesting to read. I love when a series continues so you don't have to learn all new characters! ( )
