I enjoyed the Guardian. It was a well written suspenseful novel. I liked the pace of the book and it seemed to flow in a way that made it not only an easy read but a quick read as well. Very suspenseful and as others have mentioned had that Da Vinci Code feeling to it. I would recommend this book to fans of Dan Brown. ( )

As a Catholic and former Catechism Teacher for three Years, I am always intrigued by conspiracies involving the church. I found this book to be well written, and as far as I can tell, well researched. While written as a Thriller, it is also a book of faith in the Lord, the Church, and oneself! It was difficult to put down once started. Many times I reread passages from the Bible mentioned in the book. I found it an enjoyable experience and would recommend this to anyone interested in thrillers and/or Church conspiracies. As I write this review, I can easily see myself rereading this in the near future. ( )

This story of Christian fiction is spellbinding. It is a mystery and a journey of two young people testing their faith in God. It was a faith journey for Anna and in the end she has to walk by faith and trust in God. She had accepted him (Jesus) as her Savior and asked for his forgiveness. I would highly recommend this book and look forward to their next one. Edna

The Guardian is written as a straightforward suspense novel with Christian elements added in. It is first and foremost a great suspense novel. I don't normally like Christian fiction, but The Guardian is not preachy. Anna's unbelief at the beginning of the story makes the story less sappy than traditional Christian fiction. In fact, her unbelief should make her unqualified for this task and I was surprised that she would be chosen by God for it. The authors crafted a novel that I could not put down. I had some trouble with the suspension of belief (pun not intended) that put Anna and Jason together. The non-stop action overrode this for me as did the evil, power hungry church leader characters. The ending was ingenious. The Guardian is a fantastic religious thriller. ( )

Exciting thriller along the vein of the DaVinci Code! A young girl is left a fortune in a will from her Grandfather who she hasn't seen for years and had mysterious ties to the Catholic Church. She and a young man are sent on a mission that takes them all over Europe and the Middle East to find a sacred scroll of God. A mission that those of Evil must stop. Along the way they must solve ancient puzzles and riddles all the while avoiding death by those who must stop them. A fast and furious read, lots of excitement and intrigue with a truly amazing ending! ( )
