This silly book surprises the reader by telling them how words end instead of begin. This book does a clever job at illustrating each letter with only objects or animals that end in that letter. The pictures are great for children to point out all of the images that end with the letter described on the page. Children who enjoy Eye Spy books, may enjoy finding each image in the illustrations that correlate to the text. There were few words on each page, which makes this book ideal for beginning readers or for reading aloud. The pace of the book was quick enough that a child wouldn't get bored, even by the end of the alphabet. This book would be a great fit for parents who want to find ways to encourage emerging literacy skills in their children. I would also recommend this book for any early childhood classroom. ( )
