Loading... Goodnight, Irene (1993)by Jan Burke
None. Irene Kelley # 1 ( )While I found the mystery part of the story pretty easy to figure out, I still enjoyed this book a great deal. As it is the first in a series, a lot of time was spent developing the characters and explaining relationships, etc. I thought it was a good blend of mystery, humor and romance. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series. Engaging mystery featuring journalist Irene Kelly and Det. Frank Hannigan - set in southern California and bridging past and present crimes. Good character development and nice blend of crime and romance. Great characters and story. I love Jan's writing style. I figured out 'who done it' early on but not sure if that's because I've read too many mysteries. It takes a lot to fool me these days. Entertaining, light reading, good distraction. no reviews | add a review
