This is about a bunch of animals from the jungle going on the bus to a trip to the lake. It follows the song the Wheel on the Bus Go Round and Round, but the bus parts are replaced with animal sounds. I would use this book in class for a music time or to introduce animal sounds to kids. I would use this with preschool and kindergarten mostly.

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0823423506, Hardcover)

"The wheels on the bus go round and round..." Yes, but what's on the bus? Lots of adorable animals! And they're not staying quiet. The lion roars; the monkeys chatter. The hyenas think the whole scene is ridiculous and are laughing hysterically. Watch out for the crocodile, whose jaws go snap, snap, snap! this raucous rendition of a favorite song will have everyone roaring, chattering, and chomping before the animals reach their stop.

(retrieved from Amazon Mon, 30 Sep 2013 13:20:22 -0400)

In this version of the classic song, animal passengers roar, flap, and chatter while riding a bus.
