A great canter through the early New Labour era. Chris Mullin writes sharply and provides plenty of not terribly discreet comment on the political machinations and players of the 94-99 years. Overall, very easy and enjoyable reading for fans of the political diary genre. ( )

Another outstanding diary from Mullin. Possibly one of the best political diary writers from recent years. ( )
