This book was a pretty simple, contemporary romance about two people who meet in an odd way, but gradually come to understand each other. I thought Deke was a bit of an overbearing cad, and this impression grew during the time I read the book, so I can't say that I really liked him. The attitudes portrayed are a little bit dated, but that's understandable as this is an older story. Over all I thought it was an okay book but not one I'll read again. (
