I thought that this book was a qualitative story for children. My reasons for this include the way that the other portrays the children playing together as best friends in a happy setting. As one child writes a play the other child is motivated to write one as well. They both liked each others plays so much that they wrote a play together as best friends. This book can help children learn through the way the moon and the stars are portrayed and how two half moons make a full moon. I think that it would catch the students attention because they all have a best friend and most students are fascinated by the beauty of space. The main idea/message of this book is that best friends can sometimes do things without each other but when they do they are doing something great for themselves. Then if the two best friends bring their work together, they can make a masterpiece! ( )

Cute story about love and friendship between a little boy and little girl. The story is part like a play, which makes it fun to read. ( )
