There are many styles of leadership and in the world of teacher librarians, this quality of coaching rather than directing is a vital concept that must be learned. Metz writes for any type of library and covers the basics of coaching and then tourns to coaching individuals, teams, leaders, managers, and the organization itself. Teacher librarians need to do an analysis of their management style and this book would be a good read for someone wishing to learn more collaborative techniques. Is that you? If so, consider purchasing and perusing this slim volume.
