This is a short nonfiction book perfect for young learners to help explain to them the plant life cycle. It uses vivid, up-close photographs and clear, simple language to describe how seeds are scattered and then grow. It was perfect for beginning a unit on plant life with my kindergarteners. Despite being a short title, it also contains some extras like a table of contents, glossary, etc. These elements are also helpful for the classroom to explain to students what tools they can find in nonfiction books to make the best use of them.
