A rather odd book, but a fun read. It starts out with a young Englishwoman on vacation in Greece. Out for a walk, she gets shot at and meets a mysterious, taciturn Englishman. Rather like something Mary Stewart might have written. Then about halfway into the book it suddenly changes point of view and morphs into something more like John Buchan. I enjoyed it - I like both those authors. The surprise ending was quite unexpected, too. ( )
