Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0974586501, Paperback)

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE RIGHT SIDE OF A WAR...or is there? That is the question that is explored in Kelley Robinson's new novel for young readers, young adults and children of all ages.

Robinson's book is the first in a series of parables designed to teach her own children how to cope in a world filled with violence and constantly at war and still maintain their beliefs in the value of tolerance, love and self-determination. Her characters are recognizable and the settings are a combination of the real and imagined worlds of a child.

Synopsis: The Magic of Lo Book One, The Lo Trilogy.

Robin’s lonely, boring birthday turns into an adventure when the nine-year-old meets a furry little creature in her grandparents’ greenhouse. The little man tells her that it is up to Robin, along with her big brother Colin and their sister Era to save his world.

The children travel through the terrifying DARK with the use of a magical crystal key and into the world of Lo. There, they discover that Lo is a land of riddles and secrets. When nobody is who they seem, it is difficult to tell your friends from your enemies. They must discover the truth and harness the magic of the crystal key before they can return home.

KELLEY ROBINSON spins a tale of mystery, magic and intrigue. Children and adults who enjoy the works of C.S. Lewis, Madeline L’Engle, and Lemony Snickett will relish the adventures of Robin Gale, Colin Andrew and Era Marie as they struggle to overcome prejudice, danger and fear and find the magic that resides in each of them.
