Jacqueline Ophir writes stories in the genre of erotic chastisement, usually with a bias towards dominant young women taking disciplinary charge of young men who are willing to submit themselves to her corporal corrections. She has a secure understanding of the complex feelings that draw participants together in such relationships; interactions which may involve both pain and humiliation. This story relates the progress of a young woman from a state of ignorance through to the ability to dominate both sexes, In the process she reaches an understanding of her own deep-seated craving for submission. Starting with two almost incidental experiences she first acquires a male submissive, and then two like-minded women. Ophir has an easily-read, elegant style, and 'A Perfect Mistress' is a superb example of this, well matched to the superb production standards of AKS. This is a classic of female domination literature. It is beautifully enhanced by illustrations drawn by Sardax. ( )
