Genre: Fantasy/Informational
Review: The author does a good job of staying true to the genre of both fantasy and informational by creating a believable story and giving us accurate information. Flat Stanley is a made up character but all of the other characters in the story are quite believable. Stanley is like most boy's with his feelings, yet the big difference is because he is flat, he can travel via mail and help others around the world. At the end of the book, there are several pages that give true facts about the US capital along with some facts interwove into the book.
