Though the essays at the beginning of the book still have some worth, the script that makes up the bulk of it has been rendered defunct by the recent discovery of footage in Buenos Aires. If you get a chance the extended cut of the film is worth seeing; there's fewer plot holes, characterisation is more consistent and realistic, and overall it just makes more sense. ( )
