I absolutely love the world of Gwen Frost! Starting with the prequel, First Frost, to this book, Dark Frost (the third in the series), I have been absolutely captivated by the characters of this world, the setting it is written in, and the plot which has so many twists and turns. Luckily the author, Jennifer Estep, will have six or seven books in this series before it ends!

When I started Dark Frost, I liked how the story continued from where it left off in book two without any jumps and didn’t drag one bit. I felt like I had just read book two yesterday. Gwen is still at school, learning how to use her power and various weapons, still attracted to the boy she just can’t have, and still fighting for her life and the life of her friends and family. We find out that reapers are targeting Gwen to find a dagger her Mom hid before she died. As Gwen tries to find out where her mother could have hidden the dagger in the Library on campus, she must depend on herself and her inner strength more than she ever has. As she discovers even more about herself and her gift of psychometry, she tries to stay true to using her powers for good – even though she has evil thoughts about the reapers, especially the one that killed her mother. As if staying alive isn’t enough, she’s also trying to find out the secret Logan has – the one that he doesn’t want anyone to find out, especially her.

This book did not disappoint. It had tons of action, heartbreaking moments of tenderness, lots of suspenseful scenes, and kept me up reading well past my bedtime. Kudos to Jennifer Estep for keeping this series going. ( )

This romance paired two rather unlikely people together in a hot romance filled with emotion. Marcus Sullivan was just looking for hot sex after his girlfriend betrayed him with another man. He wasn't looking to risk his heart again. Nicola Harding was also looking for hot sex. After all, she had the name and thought it was time to have the game too. But things don't go according to plan for either of them when they meet in a crowded nightclub.

Marcus finds it hard to seduce the woman who falls asleep in his arms so trustingly. Nicola wakes up embarrassed and second guessing her impulsive decision. They share one hot kiss and go their separate ways with no plans to ever see each other again. But fate has other plans...

When Marcus goes to visit his sister who is choreographing a video for a hot pop star, he is surprised to find the Nicola is the star. They decide to try again for one hot night together. But that isn't enough for either of them...

Their relationship isn't destined to run smoothly. First, there's the age difference. He's 36; she's 25. Then there's the lifestyle difference. He's a successful wine maker in the Napa Valley; she's the pop star who is seldom home because she does shows all over the world. And then, there is the fame thing. Nicola knows that anyone she dates will immediately become a press target and lose all their privacy; Marcus has never wanted fame. He's leaving that to his brothers—Smith who is a movie star and Ryan who plays pro baseball. Finally, there is the fear they have in common—that risking their hearts could get them broken.

Watching Marcus and Nicola work out their differences (and enjoy some really hot sex) made this a great story. I can't wait to read more stories about the other Sullivans finding their own true loves. ( )

I was in the mood for some romance and with an upcoming Miami Beach vacation, I took the opportunity to read From This Moment On and Can't Help Falling in Love, Books 2 & 3 of Bella Andre's Sullivan Series. These two novel are perfect summer beach reads. Nothing says vacation like a sexy guy meeting a beautiful woman for a night of passion that turns into so much more.

In From This Moment On, Marcus (the oldest Sullivan) decided a night of meaningless sex is just what the doctor ordered to help him forget his two-timing ex-girlfriend. Pop singing sensation Nicola aka Nico decides to live up to her unwarranted wild girl image. What happens next is a hot, sexy romance. This is a great little story that is crazily believable (well everything but the end which is a bit wonky).

Both novels were a fun read. Both were blushingly naughty. And sadly, both were way too short. I believe Ms. Andre has a natural talent. She is able to produce novel after novel in a short period of time. The kicker is the novels are well thought out and well written. I really have only one qualm about her work. I wish in addition to mind-blowing bedroom (and bathroom and rooftop, well you get the picture) sex scenes, she would write a bit more sustenance to go along with the romance. She is not only selling her readers short, but her herself as well. ( )

BOY WAS MARCUS HOT, I LOVED that he was able to let his Dominant side out!!!!!!I loved Chase and Chole's story, but I loved Marcus and Nico's even more!!!Marcus has been the responsible one and the care taker of his family for years. He ends up ending a relationship with who he thought was going to be "the one". Nico is a famous pop-star who was betrayed by her last boyfriend, the public perceives her as a wild child, but she really isn't. Marcus and Nico decide to visit a club to take a walk on the wild side for ONE night. They meet each other and their chemistry is like spontaneous combustion. To read the rest of this review go to:http://wtfbookreviews.blogspot.com/2011/09/from-this-moment-on-sullivans-bk-2-by.html ( )
