I love this book. It was very colorful and was very interesting to learn so much about the Japanese culture. In Japan, they wear Kimonos, which are a very detailed and unique type of clothing they wear. ( )

This wasn't exactly an educational book...but it definitely had a sense of culture. Kokeshi are little wooden dolls from Japan who all wear adorable little kimonos, this book explores the world of the kokeshi from their families to their adorable pets. The best I can think to compare it to would be reading a Barbie book here. It's like a brand name I think. Like a book about Hello Kitty wouldn't be neccesarily educational, it's just a book about a popular character. ( )
