Dark and Full of Secrets is a book that reminded me about myself a little when I was reading it. It is about a young boy who is going to the pond near his house with his father, while his father goes fishing. This is supposed to be his first fishing trip with his father as well. It centers around the young boy and the mysterious pond that his father and him are. He cannot really see the bottom and his imagination starts to run a little wild. It is the age old theory that you are afraid of what you can not see, and he starts to think there are other things going on underneath all the lily pads. A nice, simple story about a young boys imagination and awesome that can be. ( )
