The weaving centers of the Southern Appalachian regions coordinated the weaving and marketing of goods for local women during the early 20th century. This book lovingly documents the development of the Appalachian Craft Revival. It is based on oral interviews of weavers that attended Berea College and those that learned at the hands of weaving center managers.
