This atlas relates famous landmarks and natural wonders to their geographic location on maps of continents and countries. Each location has an image to represent it that is located on the map and also includes facts about the location. While the information is concise and interesting, the atlas itself is 'cartoonish' in its representation of the landscapes of the region. Some colour photographs are interesting, but, for example, in a section on castles, rather than providing pictures of actual castles, the atlas provides clip-art style images. This book is recommended for middle school students who want to learn more about the Wonders of the World. ( )
