Frickin hysterical. Like growing up in my head, only with more taxidermy and in Texas. Seriously wish I could be as funny as this woman is on a bad day. Well, not a bad day, like when vultures tried to unbury and eat her dead dog, but on a day when the writing doesn't flow. (See what I did there? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Or does that just get you sued?) Anyway, you should read this book. Probably. Unless you hate laughing, in which case what the heck is wrong with you, anyway? Why are you still here? The movie's over. Go home! ( )

I loved it from beginning to end, but I think this is one of those rare books that should be shared with a friend instead of read when alone. Reading a chapter alone was good for a chuckle or even a guffaw, but reading that same chapter aloud to a friend or family member was guaranteed to have us both in hysterics, with tears rolling down our cheeks.
Definitely read it, and definitely read your favourite parts aloud to someone else, because then you'll both love it even more. ( )

I loved this book so much! I've been reading TheBloggess.com for around a year now, so I had an idea of what to expect, and Jenny did not let me down. I laughed with almost every chapter, and it was always a big enough laugh that my husband wanted to know what I was reading. I found myself asking him to read paragraphs here & there, which I never do. Jenny made me laugh & empathize with her. I'm so glad that she is a blogger, because I want to keep reading :) ( )
