Twain's words and Radunsky's illustrations are an odd mismatch. ( )

This is just such a beautiful book to hold and look at. I'll be re-reading (and looking at the wonderful illustrations) throughout 2014. ( )

Funny and subversive (reminds me of Belloc's Cautionary Tales). And we love Radunsky's illustration work over here. ( )

This is an extremely short book, but the illustrations and humor make it fun to read. A perfect illustration of Mark Twain's own brand of humor, I chuckled especially at the advice pertaining to the handling of little brothers. It reminded me of my daughter and sons. ( )
