Book description
Kate Williams has always dreamed of using her extensive nursing experience to serve the US Special Forces. Just when she is about to give up on her dream and seek another medical position to fulfill her passion, she gets called up. She is sent to Alaska to serve her country—but the mission isn’t quite what she expected.

At her new top secret place of employment, she discovers we are not alone. A unit of aliens from another planet also works for the US military in secret, and one of those aliens just happens to appear in one of Kate’s dreams. His name is Ben, and although she is first distressed by his alien appearance, she begins to grow quite attached.

Can an earthling love an alien? Kate and Ben fight their urges, but the fight doesn’t last long as they soon admit their love for the other. Dating is the least of their worries, though, as Kate must use her medical know-how to try to save Ben’s dying alien race. Her dream mission soon becomes a nightmare as she must fight to protect the alien she loves.
