Rachel Caine envisions a scary thrill ride told from the perspective of teens trapped in a town ran by sociopathic vampires. Caine doesn't pull any punches, creating a microcosm populated by corrupted humans at every turn and shadowy vampires with their own cold agendas. Oddly enough it's pretty light on the vampire and heavy in on the human side of things. Part of a series so I feel compelled to continue but probably won't. Quick read though.
