I liked that Hanna was unusual. She dresses how she wants and not how society expects her to and keeps using her bike in a world where teleport cabins have taken over as the only mean of transportation. She has a brain of her own and doesn’t follow the masses just because everybody else does. This is what makes her realise that there is something creepy about the company Tempus Fugit and that the plague is caused by people.

Something that I didn’t like so much is that I found the book to be quite predictable and very direct, with little room for twists and red herrings. However, this is what makes it so fast-paced, so it’s not too bad. Also, things are solved very quickly and the characters don’t have to think too much about them. There’s never a real sense of danger or worry. The only real plot twist is one that is part of the open ending. After I finished the book, I looked to see if there was a sequel -there isn’t-, because even though the book has an ending, there are some things left unsolved.

All in all, not a bad book and one that I enjoyed reading.

---
