I liked it a lot! It wasn't too outrageous and it didn't drag on like some quasi-sci fi tend to. It caught my attention and kept it to the end. I loved how ordinary Brad was, how he had so many regrets like many of us. Its true that it had a lot of concepts thrown in together but that didn't stop me from liking it. I especially liked the idea that aliens shouldn't necessarily be extra-terrestrial but they can be the result of evolution. The concept of humans being treated like rare animals to be acquired and displayed is interesting too. I wish the author takes this concept further in the next book. ( )

This story starts out with a mission to Mars. Oh yes, what better start to a book than a trip to the Red Planet. Sound interesting right? Well it gets even better.

This is a story about two ex-friends. One of them is an astronaut and the other is a CEO of a company. At one time these two men were best of friends but that all changed. No, I will not tell you why or who made the relationship change for that you will have to read the book.

For these For these two men one has a life altering or should I say career-altering experience and the other completes a dream they each had. Each of these men get to meet aliens and one actually gets to talk with the aliens.

This book is the first in the series Countdown to the End of the World. Therefore, that means that 10 is the first in the series. Remember that this is a countdown so yes it will go backwards.

After reading this book, it makes me wonder if any world government has communicated with any aliens. I have always wondered if Area 51 is just a highly classified area or just something the media has talked about for so long that it is just a lie.

Therefore, the next time you are walking down the street think and wonder is the person walking behind you an alien or just another human rushing to get where they are going.

This book has it all. It will hold the readers interest, with well-developed characters, and a plot that keeps you guessing. This is the second book I have read by this wonderful author. I loved the first book The Ghost of Siena. This book just captured my interest very quickly and held it until the end.

The bunnies and I give this book 4 carrots ( )
