I will be kind, especially since it has prompted me to light a few candles and cut some flowers. At first brush one might wonder what kind of moron would be so completely clueless as to need this kind of help. On further reading, some of the suggestions are certainly not something most would be interested in and smack of being juvenile and a few even stalkerish. Some people do not like to be surprised and more than a few of these hints could seem hopelessly lame. Nobody wants to be laughed at when making romantic overtures. However, there are all kinds of people in the world who desperately need help in the romance department, because they simply don't know what to do or are too timid to try. There really are enough suggestions to pick and choose what's right for you and your best beloved whether it's your first date or whether you've been married for twenty years and need a little refresher. It does suffer from a few obsolete technological reference, i.e. your sweetie's Walkman, etc. Go ahead, flip through and spread a little love. ( )This is a lovely little book! You don't need to read it straight through but it has a number of great romantic ideas for both men and women. It has ideas for anniversaries and gifts. There is also a list of things you should know about each other. Whenever I run out of cool date ideas, I turn to this book...and it usually delivers. (Note: Many of its suggestions are, well, down right corny, though.) A handy reference book for the married or dating guy! no reviews | add a review
