Perfect, because the colors are bright, mom nurses (discreetly), dad is happy, and, best of all, the little sister gets to learn how to be a big sister, too. Lots of love and adorable-ness. Note, though, that when big brother is naughty, the corner he must stand in doesn't look very cheery... well-done! ( )

I love the story and the pictures which are made in a very careful way. It is about a boy who does not know how to deal with the fact that he is not the only child at home anymore, because he has got a sister now. Lindgren, tells from the boy's perspective of view how hard it can be to gain less attention from one day to another. I am sure that this book can help many children in this difficult process to become an older brother or sister. I will definitely read that book with my little nephew as soon my sister got her second baby. ( )

This book was ok, I didnt love it because it was kind of long and the pictures werent very good because it is so old. So I wouldnt recommend reading it in a classroom.
