This book goes through a series of postcards and letters between Annie and her grandfather.
  SerenityShaw | Jun 6, 2016 |
Annie is just an infant when her grandfather began to write her letters. Annie's mother wrote back since she could not write for herself yet. These letters from her grandfather were mostly about how excited he was she was born and all the wonderful things they will do one day. As Annie got older and could write back, they share memories of their times together. When Annie brings the one hundred letter to her class for show and tell, her classmates become inspired to write letters of their own. ( )

It started when Annie was born and Grandpa wrote to welcome her. As she grew older, his letters continued. At first Annie dictated her answers. Then she was old enough to read what Grandpa wrote, and to answer his letters all by herself personality.

But now that she is in school, Annie can read Grandpa's letters herself -- and answer them, too.
