How Do You Feel? is a great book to use to help teach children which emotions they are feeling, and how they might see someone express their emotions. It talks about the different emotions that one can have, and what it looks like when they are feeling a certain way. Anthony Browne does an incredible job with his illustrations once again, perfectly match the text on each and every page, and adds a playful side to the story. ( )

Just what it looks like! A good discussion starter for emotions, with clear illustrations that telegraph the content well. ( )

This is a book of just feelings. Sometimes the character feels sad, bored, full, hungry etc. This book just shows that feelings change and there is a variety of them. ( )

Book description
What better feeling than opening a new book from Anthony Browne? A simple look at familiar emotions for the very young.

How do you feel? Sometimes you feel happy, sometimes sad. At times you feel curious, but that may be followed by feeling . . . surprised. And of course you feel bored or lonely once in a while as well. With spare words and simple, graphic illustrations, quintessential chimp renderer Anthony Browne draws on insight and humor to reassure children with an exploration of the varied emotions they experience.
