These are reproductions of fashion plates actually published during the Regency period by Ackermann, one of the leading lights. As such, one can hardly get more authentic representations, although I suppose one most reflect that fashion is not the same thing as commonly worn clothing.

Excellent for a fashion collection, or fans of the Regency, Jane Austen, etc. ( )

Fabulous plates for the era, which is late Regency. I wish there were a companion book for fashions from 1798 to 1817. ( )
