An enjoyable beginning to the Saddle Island Series set in the province of Nova Scotia. A young girl, Kelsie, and her brother move in with their aunt and try to adjust to a new place and make new friends. Soon enough, Kelsie meets Jen and both are wrapped up in the fate of a beautiful white horse named Caspar. The two must prevent Caspar from being sold to auction by any means necessary. This series is perfect for the young horse lover who enjoys adventure and an easy, uncomplicated read.
