What a great book to show the importance of knowing how to spell. Recess Mess is the story about children on the playground. Soon the focus is on Sam and all his activities. The big climax is when poor little Sam has to use the restroom, but sadly he cannot read the signs. This book would be a great to read to students for a spelling lesson. I loved it. ( )
