Matthew doesn't have anything to share for show and tell so he makes up a story about a lion living in his home. The story gets bigger and bigger and Matthew doesn't know how to tell the class the truth. He ends up writing a story book about Larry the Lion and brings that for show and tell. This was a cute story about how a child handles revealing his white lie to his peers. It could easily be used for character education. ( )
