This book shows what happens during a hurricane and the emotions and fear that are stirred up when a big disaster hits. It provides a view of the disater from the child's point of view and shows that after disaster strikes the sun will shine again, and things get better in time.

One day two boys went to the beach to snorkel. Their mom began to yell, "Hurricane!!!." They ran back to the house and began packing to leave. They drove to the rain shelter to ride out the hurricane. They sang songs at the shelter so that they would stay calm. They awoke the next day to discover the hurricane was over.

Two boys out in ocean, snorkeling, when beginning of hurricane started. They went home and packed with their mom. The ride to the shelter was scary as the hurricane was getting worse. But they made it safely to the shelter and sang songs to help keep them calm.The next day they spent picking up trash around the community.
