( ) The last of the wonderful last dragon chronicles but by gosh what a truely amazing author Chris D Lacey is. This book goes back in time and explains the legend of Guinavere and the dragons and proceeds to take you to a world so creative and somewhat complex. The Fire Ascending captures your imagination and drags you into a place you never would have imagined without the help of D Lacey (or is it David?) The last few pages became hard to read knowing my favorite book series was coming to an end but when i closed the book my answer to the final word was sometimes. Thanks Chris for a wonderful adventure! x This takes place back in time where Guinevere timeline is. A boy named Agawin tries to stop a sibyl, Gwillana who sided with the Ix. He is also suppose to not be in the legend. The darklings are rising with a leader, while snowflake bears appear on the ice carried by a fire star to engage in battle. friends appear to be enemies as they were inverted. Alexis/Agawin saves the day. no reviews | add a review
