This story is about Christmas Eve in a house with two bunnies called Ruby and Max. Ruby was preparing Max for bed before Christmas Day while telling him what Christmas Eve was. Max could hardly wait for Christmas Day, so he went downstairs when Santa Claus was there in his living room. Ruby ended up seeing Max with presents under his covers from Santa Claus. I think this story is a fun story for kids to read because of its illustrations and its plot. ( )

I love the Max and Ruby books and shows! They're great and the kids like them too! Great story for around December.

Another great Max and Ruby story. A great book to use around the holiday season and to use as a read aloud. It is another story of the importance of siblings and family.

The Max and Ruby collection are good for struggling readers. Max is very curious about Christmas but Ruby tries to leave it a mystery. His curiosity got the best of him on Christmas Eve and Max decided to stay up all night to wait and see Santa Claus although Ruby said nobody can ever see him. When Max's eyes were about to close, Santa came down the chimney. Santa tucked Max into bed leaving him with all the presents. When Ruby woke up to see Max downstairs, she was very surprised and a little confused to what had happened.
